Welcome to Southeastern Association of Neonatologists
The Southeastern Association of Neonatologists, a non-profit corporation, provides neonatologists from the Southeast a medium to exchange ideas, discuss problems and plan strategies for the future of neonatology.
The mission of the organization is to provide for the betterment of the educational and professional objectives of individuals in the practice of neonatology in the Southeastern United States.
With 250 members, the association’s annual conferences are well attended and well received. These meetings provide an overall review of current knowledge in the neonatal care, in addition to present day dealing with managed care, cost, ethical issues, and the future of neonatal medicine.
The speakers are the country’s top neonatologists, well published and superb teachers in perinatal medicine.
SAN Membership
You are eligible to become an SAN member if you are a neonatologist AND you reside in one of the following states:
Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, or Puerto Rico.
SAN Membership and conferences are for Neonatologists (physicians) only.
SAN MEMBERSHIP AND ANNUAL CONFERENCE
If you would like to renew your SAN membership or become a member of SAN AND you are planning on attending the 2025 SAN Conference in Marco Island, Florida from May 21-24, 2026, please click button below to register.
SAN DUES FOR NON CONFERENCE ATTENDEES
If you are interested in becoming a member of SAN or need to renew your membership but will NOT be able to attend the upcoming SAN conference in Marco Island, Florida this May, there is no need to register. Simply click on this downloadable SAN Membership Form [PDF] and send the completed form along with your $75.00 check payment (write in check memo “2026 SAN Member Dues”) made payable to Southeastern Association of Neonatologists Inc. Please mail both the form and the check directly to: SAN Membership c/o Michelle Longman 844 NE 98 Street, Miami Shores, FL 33138. Once received, we will email you a confirmation receipt.
Members who were not able to attend the 2026 conference will be sent a pass code for access to the PDF files for the lectures at a later date.
